The stress-release test, without cabling
Easy Concrete Strength uses a disposable sensor and a dedicated adhesive: applied in under 10 minutes, with no primer or chemical treatment of the substrate.
Solutions
In prestressed structures the effective prestress force, years later, is unknown. Easy Concrete Strength estimates it with a fast, wireless stress-release test that needs no substrate preparation.

01 / The problem
In pre- and post-tensioned reinforced concrete structures, the residual stress state of the cables and strands is not directly measurable years later. Corrosion, steel relaxation and cracking reduce the effective prestress, with effects on load-bearing capacity.
Traditional stress-release tests rely on wired strain gauges: they require substrate preparation, primers and controlled roughening, specialist staff and long times on site.
02 / The InSensus response
Easy Concrete Strength uses a disposable sensor and a dedicated adhesive: applied in under 10 minutes, with no primer or chemical treatment of the substrate.
The wireless acquirer is small and compact, suited to working next to the core drill; the RF Monitor software displays and stores the course of the test.
A triaxial strain-gauge rosette reads the deformations in the three directions to estimate the local stress state.
