Cookie Policy

This policy describes the cookies and other storage technologies used by www.in-sensus.com, their purposes and how to manage your preferences. The processing of personal data (for example the data sent through the contact form) is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the visitor's device. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) store information in the browser without using actual cookies. They are grouped into technical tools, which are necessary to run the site or to deliver a service requested by the user, and analytics or profiling tools, which require prior consent.

3. Cookies and tools used by this site

3.1 Technical tools (always on, no consent needed)

The site is static and sets no HTTP cookie to operate, neither browser-side nor server-side. The only value stored in the browser is your cookie preference:

This value stays on the user's device, is not sent to any third party and does not identify the person.

Fonts. The Montserrat typeface is hosted directly on the site's domain: no requests are made to Google Fonts or any external delivery network, so no third-party cookie or identifier is generated when loading fonts.

3.2 Third-party analytics cookies (subject to consent)

Subject to consent given through the banner, the site may use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, Ireland), to collect aggregate statistics about site usage (pages viewed, traffic source, device type). IP anonymisation is enabled.

These cookies are set only after you click "Accept". If you choose "Reject", or until you make a choice, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookie is created. Data collected by Google Analytics may be transferred to and processed in third countries, including the United States: Google states that it applies standard contractual clauses and supplementary measures. See Google's privacy policy and the Google Analytics and privacy page. A browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics is also available.

Note: at the time this policy is published, Google Analytics is not yet active on the site. It will be enabled only through the consent mechanism described here, and this page will be updated accordingly.

3.3 What this site does not use

The site does not use: advertising, retargeting or profiling cookies; social plugins or buttons that load content from third-party networks; maps, videos or other content embedded via iframe; session recording or heatmap tools; external content delivery networks.

4. Legal basis

Technical tools rely on the controller's legitimate interest in providing a working and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and do not require consent, pursuant to Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines of 10 June 2021. Third-party analytics cookies rely on the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which can be withdrawn at any time.

5. How to give, withdraw or change consent

  • Banner. On your first visit you can choose between "Accept" and "Reject". Your choice is remembered.
  • Cookie preferences. The "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page reopens the banner and lets you change your choice at any time, with immediate effect.
  • Browser settings. Every browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear site data (including local storage). Instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Disabling technical tools may impair some site features.
  • Google Analytics opt-out. You can install the opt-out browser add-on, which applies to every site you visit.

6. Links to external sites

The footer contains a link to the InSensus LinkedIn page. The link loads no LinkedIn content on this site and sets no LinkedIn cookie: LinkedIn's terms and cookies apply only if you choose to visit that page.

7. Processing of personal data

Information on the controller, purposes, legal bases, retention periods and data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, complaint to the supervisory authority) is provided in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this Cookie Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. If there are material changes to tools that require consent, the banner will be shown again to collect a new choice. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
